Rather than directing my Goth video at Whitby Goth Weekend I decided to design a set of playing cards with actions on them. Thought was given to how much of each action I wanted which resulted in that number of playing cards being printed. The deal was that Goths could choose what action they wanted to be filmed doing and when I filmed them they would get the playing card. The designs I chose had a strong influence on whether an individual would want to be filmed for that action.
