I hope you like my profile, it hides a silly smirk. My name is Peter Glyn Jones, I'm sometimes called planet Pete; affectionately I've been assured. Welcome to some landmarks on planet Pete.
What you can expect to get from the site: It is mostly serious explaining what skills I have to offer and what opportunities I am looking for. Explore my wide range of exciting images both 3d, 2d and links to my videos.
In this personal section theirs a basic CV and a family page with a link to a blog where you can share some of your "inventions around the house". Over the years I have had many obsessions some of which I share on my interests' page. The advantage of living in Oxford is that there are a lot of informed people so I have been able to find out the state of play of technologies needed to combat climate change and have some clear results, see the protest page. In the praise section I celebrate some beacons of truth and genuine good actions that occasionally happen in our mixed up world.
Compiling this web page has revealed floors in my master plan. It has helped me see why when many of my peers have found satisfying niches I am still a miserable technician; ok I have completed a film script, had several photographic exhibitions and devised performances and kept up to date with a plethora of skills but I am not using my skills in my work. Being a technician was supposed to give me 'space' to do my creative work but I can see now that the lack of challenges have only succeeded in eroded my drive and motivation.
I've spent my life using my imagination now is the time to create the results in photography, drawing and video and later maybe writing & music.
My plans for 2008: The focus of this year is to create a viable business in 3d photography, going with business opportunities that arise which may include more website building, regular photography and 3d imaging in a border sense but I want to split my time between using the computer and getting out to locations. It also occurs to me that drawing regularly will benefit all my goals and develop my strength.
I do not intend to update this part of the webpage until 2009 so for more current information look at my live journal.
