Wana be inventor

When I first 'invented' timemorphing I was aware of the distortion effect due to old shutter plane cameras. I did make the conceptual jump to realising that the image wasn't restricted to being composite from a slit, as is done with slitscan. Later I realised the rules applying to the mask for creating distortion (read Timemorph description for explanation), got the software make to create the mask and I created full motion timemorph

The central function of TimeMorph Technologies is to develop software in close conjunction with video artists, to arriving at a modular programme capable and of a wide variety of usefull time distortion effects. we are particularly concerned that the software will be as platform independent as possible so that we can potentially link with larger projects that may be developing in a variety of directions from VJ-ing hardware to high-end video special-effects. the product will be able to run as a stand-alone application and the easy-to-use, with online and off-line informational tutorials and help files. We envisaged to distribute early versions of the TimeMorphing software over the internet charging online for the full version. To achieve our aims we are looking to secure more funding and from large software and hardware manufacturers other development funds..... creative resorts of the already existing TimeMorphing software has already stunned and impressed audiences at nightclubs and private showing. Exhibitions and are in the making to put the concept of TimeMorphing on a map and prepare the way for the launch of the product.

Software expences: Developers studio - 300 - 400 After Effects production bundal - 600 RT2000 - 800 DV camera - 4000 Their are many people that want to be involved in the TimeMorph project. It has attracted programmers that have a passion for their subject because its a new developement that allow the creativity of their process blossom. The money will be eaked out because the programers I have chosen are working on personal projects that are not too dissimilar so some of the code is already created. We also have a pollicy of skill swapping, I have exchanged art work for programing or done one favour or another. Much of the core equipment such as the video camera is wanted by programers and artists alike. Time rate for employies: 20 per hour core programer 10 per hour Junior developement 8 per hour administrater 5 extra hand

The TimeMorph crew
We are a group of people extending its experience and interest from conceptal Fine Art to algorithm development in programming. Our strength is our diversity, as the key player I am able to span between the different extremes. The TimeMorph crew has a range of involvements in the project from myself ( who wants to have full-time involvement) to an occasional advisory role. Starting from the fine-art side we have Hugh Mooney and at the other side of the spectrum the have Chris.
